Please read this page carefully before you make an application.
The application form is below, and we have endeavoured to make it as simple as possible.
After you make your application, you will be sent an automatic email with a copy of your submission.
Traditional Herbal and Botanical Medicine Apprenticeship
The full application process requires the following:
Submission of the application form.
Submission of the interview notes form, which will be sent to you after your application has been reviewed.
Completion of an online interview, which will be organised after the submission of your interview notes.
If your application is successful, you will receive a formal offer of a place, which requires a non-refundable payment of €650 or £570 upon acceptance, within 14 days of the offer being issued to you, unless otherwise agreed.
The Herbal Medicine Practitioner Training
This application requires you to have completed the two-year Herbal Apprenticeship or equivalent, and completed a similar process to the Apprenticeship application.
The interview
The individual school you have chosen will then contact you to organise an informal Zoom interview, ensuring that we are the right fit for each other and allowing both parties to ask any detailed questions relevant to your chosen study path. All being well, you will be offered a place, valid for fourteen days unless otherwise agreed. (Check the payment schedule for your chosen school, Ireland Schools and UK Schools)
Before you submit your application, you must read the Course descriptions, Schedules, the About section, and the individual School pages to familiarise yourself with the Course and School you wish to study with.

We would like you to review the following before submitting your application to get an idea of how we operate with respect to terms and conditions—the small print, if you will.
In addition, the following must be agreed upon when you accept the official offer of a place.
Our Educational Values (For the academically minded)
We are accepting applications for 2026 and will continue for 2027.
We will keep applications open full-time now, but interviews for 2027 will probably not occur until later this year or early in 2027.
Places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis after a successful interview.
Update For the Herbal Apprenticeship:
Exmoor, Chilterns UK, and Wexford Apprenticeship courses are fully booked for 2026, so you will be added to a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available. You will be transferred to the 2027 application list in October.
Northern UK are processing a full quota of applications for 2026 at the moment, so you may be placed on a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available. You will be transferred to the 2027 application list in October.
Due to demand, the Cork school has opened a second stream; some places are still available for the 2026 intake
