Karen Davis and Fiona Fisher from the Northern UK school are opening a new branch of the school near London in response to popular demand.
Currently, the Plant Medicine School has UK locations in Exmoor and Scotland, creating a significant gap in the middle of the UK. This new branch aims to provide high-quality, accredited herbal training in an area with a large population. This aligns with our policy of accessibility and creating high-quality herbal education within easy reach of people.
The Chiltern school is based in Amersham, about 1 mile from the station, which is on the Metropolitan line from Baker Street and the main line from Marylebone to Birmingham
Amersham is located near the M40, M25, M1 and A41, so it's easily accessible from London, the South East and the Midlands.
The Chiltern school is situated near a number of herb gardens, including one at the Amersham Museum, the local memorial garden and the local manor house

The school is located with access to a range of established trees, a wild garden and established herbs and plants from the garden, which provides an environment for making medicines and learning about the plants.

Nature and wildlife
From rare orchids to majestic red kites, the diversity of the flora and fauna of the Chilterns National Landscape is incredible.
The Chilterns National Landscape is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife, including many protected and notable species. The area is particularly important for its chalk grassland, chalk streams, ancient woodlands and arable habitats. Over millennia, variations in soils, topography and management have given rise to rich habitat mosaics, including box woodland and juniper scrub, chalk streams, wayside verges and disused quarries, wood pasture and veteran trees, and heathland and acid grassland. Many of the habitats now associated with the Chilterns are a by-product of many years of traditional management, such as grazing, coppicing and quarrying.
More than 11% of the Chilterns National Landscape (9,500 ha) is designated and protected for its wildlife value.

Traditional Herbal Apprenticeship - Two Years duration - pay £1800 per year or in instalments. Total Fees £3600
A. Herbal Medicine Practitioner Training - Three Years duration - pay £1900 per year for the first two years or in instalments. Total fees £3800.
B. Supervised Practitioner Clinics 500 Hrs - Total fees £3000, pay individual clinic supervisors as you attend the clinics.
