The Plant Medicine School - Exmoor
Jane Wallwork of The Exmoor Apothecary is delighted to be hosting an Apprenticeship at this time, located on the edge of Exmoor.
The Exmoor Plant Medicine School is based at The Exmoor Apothecary in Somerset on the edge of Exmoor.
The Apothecary is quite high up and feels very close to the elements and nature with the river Tone beneath the hill and a wide variety of native wild species growing and only one field away there is moorland gorse and a hazel copse.
The gardens are managed along organic chemical free principles and contain many secret corners, two polytunnels, raised beds and other lovely features.
The teaching area and the apothecary itself has been fashioned out of an old concrete workshop block but inside is transformed into a beautiful medicine making space and classroom with a wood-burning stove keeps us warm in winter. The shelves are well stocked with herbs and tinctures and oils & essential oils. It is a safe space where there is no judgement, just a warm welcome and a supportive learning environment.
Jane Wallwork heads up the Exmoor school and is ably assisted by Stacey Frampton.

Courses offered at this location and total costs:
At Home with Herbs, Online version - Six months duration - Total fees £425, pay in one instalment.
Traditional Herbal Apprenticeship - Two Years duration - pay £1700 per year or in instalments. Total Fees £3400 (Please note number 1 is included in number 2).
Herbal Medicine Practitioner Training - Three Years duration - pay £1750 per year for the first two years or in instalments. Total fees £3500.
Supervised Practitioner Clinics 500Hrs - £3000, pay individual clinic supervisors as you attend the clinics.
Total for full five-year training = £9,900
