About the School
Our About section is really
all about you.
Hawthorn in blossom
The school has evolved to provide you with a type of transformational herbal education unavailable in any other school.
Nikki wished she had had this kind of herbal course when she was training. It is a way of learning based on becoming conscious of the natural way in which plants and people relate to each other.
This is how and why Nature Resonance Medicine was created and developed into a simple, accessible method for expanding awareness and becoming conscious of the inner qualities that enable communication with plants.
In this way, we hope it becomes widely available for all people to regain this innate human capacity.

How We Teach
We work hard to pioneer holistic, inclusive, and diverse teaching methods that help people reclaim their learning intelligence so that they can take the knowledge into themselves and make it part of them.
We follow a participatory education model that helps students engage in the process of de-schooling and discover their learning intelligences and the best way to learn for themselves. Read More

Our Ethics
We are a nature-centred, ecocentric school.
Our relationship with nature is one of regeneration and healing. We endeavour to walk lightly on the Earth, learning to embody nature's generosity, listening to the rest of nature, and remembering our own authentic natures.
Good ethical practice is key to our enterprise; we expect students and staff to conduct themselves respectfully and ethically. Read More

Our Vision
The vision of the Plant Medicine School is to help us play a part in reclaiming and restoring a hugely important part of our heritage. In some parts of the world, this is still taught at the kitchen table, by the cooking fire, in the fields, passed down from parent to child and woven through the fabric of the culture.
Plants also feed us most generously, and another theme of our work is to remove the artificial divide between food and medicine; as Hippocrates said, “Let our food be our medicine, and our medicine be our food.” Read More

Our History
The Plant Medicine School came into being as the result of a happy merger, collaboration and marriage between Veriditas Hibernica, founded in 2008 and Grá Nádur, founded in 2014.
The Exmoor School began in 2019, and we moved from Coachfoord to Wexford in 2020. The Cork and Scotland schools began in 2021, and the Northern UK School is opening this year. Read More

Naturopathy
Naturopathy or naturopathic medicine is based on supporting and building a person’s vital energy or force.
Naturopathy takes a holistic approach to wellness and supports people in achieving and maintaining their health.
It treats the whole person—their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. The root causes of any illness are addressed, not just the symptoms. Read More
