Island Resonance
I went for a walk yesterday to one of my favourite places in Grá Nádúr. The lane from the Community Field to the Sanctuary Field and across the River Bann to the island in the river.
The River Bann
I saw some nice ferns and some beautiful Ground Ivy, which I worked with yesterday while making some Plant Resonance Medicine. I burst into tears and released a lot of grief and stress with the Ground Ivy, and discovered it tastes pleasant too.
It was very soothing to cross the river, which was low enough to do so in my walking boots without getting wet. The repair on the land looks good now and has bedded in nicely. It was quite a task with many large boulders. The bracken and brambles had grown over the paths on the island, but were easily cleared with my walking staff.
I reached the centre of the ancient circle of oak trees and paused for a time. I looked around me, and the pictures at the end of this collection do not do justice to the majestic size of these great wild sessile oaks. This is in a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and rightfully so, for its wild beauty is breathtaking.
After a time of Nature Resonance Medicine and good pure connection, I slowly left the island to recross the Bann and return to the Community Field where Nikki was working with the plants.
I felt full of presence and a profound joy in my heart. Alex
